Materials We Use and Why: 

      The primary wood product used at images unlimited is Western Red Cedar.  All of our posts, decorative accents, etc. are made from this wood.  Vertical grain Western Cedar is used for sandblasted signs.  Red Cedar is readily available and will hold the paint better than Redwood.  Red Cedar posts remain stable over time. They do not crack or twist as do "treated lumber"  posts.  A higher quality end-product is why Western Red Cedar is our choice of wood to use. 

     We choose all of our products using the same criteria -  For the highest Quality End - Product possible.

 

 

How We Are Different:

   Where possible, we mortise our signs into the posts, all the joints are sealed to help make the sign stronger which also helps to reduce the chances of water damage.  We then finish our signs with the highest quality paints (enamels when possible) and premium vinyl.  We prefer to use vinyl on all our graphics and lettering when possible. It has a life expectancy 2 to 3 times longer than paint.  Since the vinyl is cut with a computer, the lettering and graphics produced have a sharper image than those that are hand painted.  This again helps ours clients receive a higher quality end-product.
